Description
Human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 (1HTLV1) is an RNA virus that can cause leukemia or other metastatic cancers after infection. It mainly infects CD4+T lymphocytes in the body and can cause adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma, HTLV associated myeloid disease (HAM/tropical spastic lower limb paralysis), Tropical Pastic Paraparesis TSP and uveitis are mainly transmitted through blood transfusions, needles, sexual activity, and mother to child transmission. HTLV-I virus is a distant relative of HIV, but HTLV-I is not related to the occurrence of AIDS. At present, various blood donation centers use enzyme immunoassay to comprehensively screen for HTLV-I virus.
Application
This product is a human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 probe based fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR kit developed based on probe based fluorescence quantitative PCR technology. It has the following characteristics:
- Ready to use, users only need to provide sample RNA templates.
- Primers and probes have been optimized for high analytical sensitivity.
- Provide positive controls to distinguish false negative samples.
- High specificity, the primers are designed based on the highly conserved region of human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 and will not cross react with RNA of other viruses.
- It can be used for both qualitative and quantitative testing. When used for quantitative detection, the linear range should be at least 5 orders of magnitude.
- This product is sufficient for 50 probe based fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR reactions in a 20μL system.
- This product can only be used for scientific research.
