Description
This kit uses specific primers and probes designed for the conserved region of the Treponema pallidum gene, and employs fluorescence PCR technology to amplify and detect the nucleic acid of Treponema pallidum in vitro, for clinical pathogen diagnosis of suspected infectious materials.
Application
Treponema pallidum is the pathogen of syphilis, also known as Treponema pallidum due to its transparency and difficulty in staining. Syphilis is a widespread venereal disease, and its incidence rate has rebounded in China. Treponema pallidum only infects humans and is divided into acquired syphilis and fetal syphilis. Acquired syphilis is mainly transmitted through sexual contact; Fetal syphilis is transmitted by Treponema pallidum through the placenta and umbilical cord blood circulation to the fetus, which can cause systemic infection in the fetus. Spiral bodies proliferate extensively in fetal organs and tissues, which can cause fetal death or miscarriage.
This kit is suitable for detecting Treponema pallidum in patient blood and other samples, and is used as an auxiliary diagnosis for Treponema pallidum infection.
Specimen collection
Suspected patient draws 5mL of blood for examination.
